Buy your groceries with Bay Deliveries and support Rowcroft with every shop!

Rowcroft Hospice has teamed up with new grocery company, Bay Deliveries, to offer people a way to buy fresh and local produce whilst supporting the charity!

This new partnership means that when people buy their groceries from Bay Deliveries, 10 % of what they spend will go to Rowcroft – directly supporting patient care across South Devon.

This has all come at a time when support is most needed. With the charity’s usual jam-packed schedule of fundraising events cancelled or postponed, and the majority of its shops closed across South Devon, Rowcroft is struggling to generate income - yet end-of-life patient care is more important than ever. The hospice continues to provide expert care, comfort and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families across the South Devon region, in patients’ own homes, and in Rowcroft’s Inpatient Unit in Torquay.

“We are thrilled to be working with Bay Deliveries.  It seems like a win win situation: Supporters get to buy really fresh, locally sourced food and drink; and they help the hospice at the same time at no cost to themselves.  Times are tough for so many people at the moment and it is wonderful to enable people to support us whilst they are simply buying their usual groceries.” Says Alison Upton, Community and Corporate Fundraising Manager at Rowcroft Hospice.

“A few years ago I was able to support Rowcroft with an event they were holding.  The impact they have left a lasting impression on me and I wanted to find a way to work together again.

Bay Deliveries was started with the aim of bringing the traditional high street to your front door.  We make it easy for people to shop for exceptional quality local products all from the comfort and safety of your home or office. We offer fresh Brixham fish, Hallett’s bread, meat from a local butchers , fruit and veg boxes, local beers, wines and spirits, cheeses and more.  To make us a true one stop shop, we also offer some of the big national brands alongside local food and drink, all delivered to your door at a time you choose.” adds James Arnold, co-founder of Bay Deliveries.

“Beyond ensuring all of the products are high quality and super fresh, we have also invested in ensuring all of our customer facing team hold an enhanced DBS, have received safeguarding training and hold a first aid qualification.”
